Re composition, it is a clear liquid, almost runny like water. It is generally recommended for all skin types & is gentle enough. I have sensitive skin. Even though I'm almost 45, I still struggle with blackheads. I use BHA 3-4 times a week in the evening. Colorless, slightly strange-smelling liquid. I use it all over my face and it controls oiliness and blackheads nicely. I recommend it to anyone who has a similar skin problem.
